Get a room, you two.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s kiss at a charity polo match in Miami on Friday was a genuine public display of affection, according to one expert.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex appeared at the event for Sentebale, which Harry, 39, founded in 2006. The foundation works with young people and children impacted by HIV in Botswana and Lesotho.
According to body language expert Judi James, the couple’s kiss proved that the two have no problems flaunting their love in front of onlookers.
James told The Mirror that the smooch was reminiscent of one the Sussexes shared back in 2018 at a different event, and that it indicated how in-sync the lovebirds are together.
“Back in 2018 Harry, looking all fired-up and full of passion after hammering around on the polo field, planted a very sexy kiss on Meghan’s lips, giving the kiss a ‘get a room!’ quality,” James said.
“His expression was serious and he looked lost in the moment as he turned his head but kept his torso facing front.”
“Meghan tilted her head back in the same neck-baring gesture of submission that [Princess] Diana used when she kissed [King] Charles on their wedding day. The polo trophy looked irrelevant and they almost had to be reminded it was supposed to be handed over,” she continued.
However, the most recent lip-lock “shows the love is still there but it is a much sweeter, more fun PDA.”
The way that their hands laid on the trophy this time around as they canoodled, suggested that the “Suits” star, 42, and Harry have “higher levels of sociability than they showed when they appeared lost in the moment back in 2018.”
“It’s Harry craning his neck here and Meghan’s heels make her able to kiss at a more even angle. The body language is more mirrored here, illustrating the levels of like-minded synchronicity that has grown over the years.”
For the polo match, Markle donned a white sleeveless dress and beige heels, with Harry sporting a cool blue button-down and tie-less suit.
Despite the fiery kiss and the gorgeous ensemble, James claimed that the former actress looked less sure of herself than the Invictus Games founder at the bash.
“The couple present like film stars here, holding hands as they pose and smile for the cameras… Meghan is [wearing] huge shades and wide smiles, while Harry’s puffed chest and confident stride suggests he is in his absolute element,” she told the Express Friday.
“Meghan only looks slightly less assured when she is in the paddock with him before the match starts, where her folded arms make her look a little less confident.”
The pair had moved away from the rest of the royal family back in 2020 and made the move to Montecito, Calif.
They have since grown their brand, with the upcoming launch of their lifestyle company American Riviera Orchard, as well as creating their Archewell Productions banner.
The duo also landed a lucrative deal with Netflix worth $100 million, and will be debuting two new TV series on the streamer in the forthcoming months.
