Three people shot, one dead following shooting at Jax Beach, suspects still at large

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, Jacksonville Beach Police Department and Jacksonville Fire and Rescue are investigating a shooting that left two people injured and one person dead in Jacksonville Beach on Sunday night.

Police officers say three people were shot. Two of them are in stable condition. One person is dead.

The suspects are still at large.

Police have shut down the beachfront bar district area and they are working on getting suspect descriptions.

The shelter in place order has been lifted.

People are being urged to stay away from the scene.

The Jacksonville Beach Police Department will have a press conference at 8 a.m. Monday to give more information about the investigation.
